The CLI Value of ‘Helpfulness’ – Are you Helping Enough?

Value of Helpfulness Have you ever wished God helped you every time you failed or missed the promotion or the lottery prized! When it comes to Helpfulness as the draw of CLI Values Card of the day in the deck of cards or the CLI Mobile app, does it mean helping others only?

Helpfulness as you experience during Business Coach Certification is to help without being overbearing, without being biased or without an ulterior motive to simply assist self and others to resolve, solve, untangle, enable, realize, experience or simply feel having served to reduce poverty or deprivation in society. Helping others to love themselves more is undeniably the highest service to humanity.

Helping professionals and Parents ‘help’ themselves and others by being in the silence every day, self- coaching, receiving coaching from a  Professional Coach, reducing their karma and hanging out only with positive people.

Ultimately, ‘Helpfulness’ means we unconditionally offer our love, compassion and resources to those in need.

Universal Law #11: “The Law of Karma” – What Goes Around Comes Around

Do we really realize that each of our positive / negative thoughts or words or actions towards our own self or towards others, keeps depositing like a bank account?  Indeed, each of us has a Deeds Bank Account just like we have a money bank account.

This Law, also called “The Law of Cause and Effect”, Law of Karma tells us that when we have unconstructive thoughts, words, and actions about ourselves and others (cause), we make a deposit into our “negative” bank account (effect) and vise versa for positive thoughts or actions turning out as “positive” bank account deposits.

A Life Coach Training program shares with us that peace, joy, and love, for example, come to us more easily when we have a lot more positive merits than negative ones.   It just makes sense.  And, isn’t peace, joy, and love all that we want in life?

What we sow, we reap.  As we do good things to ourselves and others, good things come back to us.

Universal Law #8: “The Mirror Law” – When I look in the Mirror, What do I See?

“What I see in others is a reflection of what I see in myself.”

This law states that if we are emotionally charged when thinking about someone else’s unconstructive behaviour, then they are mirroring back to us that we have the very same behaviour. This is THE toughest law for people to embrace. Often, we stubbornly don’t want to see the mirror.

For years I was blaming husband John for the communication issues in our marriage until my Universal Law #8Executive Coach pointed this law out to me. I said to her, “You mean, because I get angry at John’s lousy ability to communicate, that I, too, must be lousy at communicating?”  The silence at the end of the phone was my answer.

Sheesh. Tough pill to swallow, eh? Later that day I apologized to John and asked forgiveness for the many years I silently blamed him.

“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” – Mother Teresa

The Law also states that if we are happy with someone else’s behaviour, then they are mirroring back to us that we too have that wonderful, positive behaviour. Celebrate that!

Universal Law #6: “The First Law of Increase” – Understanding why things multiply

This law says, “What I resist persists. My negative patterns repeat themselves. The seeds of gratitude, kindness, joy etc. will bring even more positives to me.”

Some people wake up to their negative patterns quite easily. Not me!Universal Law #6 God had to hit me over the head with a whole tree! I was living a life of luxury – fancy cars, house, clothes. One day, all h_ _ _ broke loose! My body started to break down. The signs were there but I chose to ignore them.

I was resisting what was best for me. Fancy stuff doesn’t bring one happiness. I thought it did. So why was I miserable? I had forgotten to nurture my spiritual self. It took a broken body to wake me up.

It healed as I reconnected with my Godself. Read how I did it in The “God” in Coaching – The Key to a Happy Life. Learn PCMK™ methodologies to get rid of your own R-E-S-I-S-T-A-N-C-E.

To whom can you show kindness today? It will come back to you.

Universal Law #7: “The Law of Attraction” – Why We Attract What We do

I was working with an Executive Coaching client today and man was she angry! She was angry at her entire team because they were not working hard enough to get a specific project done on time.

Hmmm. Any thoughts on why she ‘attracted’ this situation?

This Universal Law says, “I attract people, places and things into my life to help me grow emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically.”

‘Sally’ learned that she attracted the situation in order to learn some key leadership Values: Compassion, Understanding and Patience. Universal Law #7 First, Sally needed to move into a place of Compassion and Understand that her employees must have a reason for their tardiness. Then with Patience she coached her employees using The Be a Star Executive Coaching methodology and helped everyone recognize why the employees were so far behind. Her anger disappeared and forward action took place.

Easy stuff (when we know how!).

Why People Have Trouble Taking Advice

Have you ever had a sick friend or family member who wouldWhy People Have trouble Taking Advice not accept the advice that you have given them?

Why does this seem to happen?

Some of the reasons could be that they have very little clarity due to unconstructive patterns causing them to stay unwell, the disbelief that anyone could know more than medical doctors, plain stubbornness or not wishing to change their diet. Professional Coaches who undergo a Life Coaching Training Program can free people from these misconceptions. It is human nature to blame outside circumstances when we feel hurt or become sick; however, The Universal Law of Choice says, “If we want to change our lives, we must change our choices.”

Mature personal leadership invites us to reach out for others to help us as we take responsibility for our situation. We are the only ones who can change who we are.
