The CLI Value of ‘Helpfulness’ – Are you Helping Enough?

Value of Helpfulness Have you ever wished God helped you every time you failed or missed the promotion or the lottery prized! When it comes to Helpfulness as the draw of CLI Values Card of the day in the deck of cards or the CLI Mobile app, does it mean helping others only?

Helpfulness as you experience during Business Coach Certification is to help without being overbearing, without being biased or without an ulterior motive to simply assist self and others to resolve, solve, untangle, enable, realize, experience or simply feel having served to reduce poverty or deprivation in society. Helping others to love themselves more is undeniably the highest service to humanity.

Helping professionals and Parents ‘help’ themselves and others by being in the silence every day, self- coaching, receiving coaching from a  Professional Coach, reducing their karma and hanging out only with positive people.

Ultimately, ‘Helpfulness’ means we unconditionally offer our love, compassion and resources to those in need.

The CLI Value of ‘Service’ – The Power of Selfless Service

What do you think is the meaning of Selfless Service to a parent, soldier or CEO of an organization?

To a Parent would be to let his/her children grow up in a loving and caring environment that enables them to become responsible citizens of the society.

The Power of Selfless ServiceService to a Soldier would be to protect the honour of his country while guarding borders or when serving overseas under the United Nations.  In fact Service connotes the ultimate sacrifice in Serving of the Flag of the Nation.

Service to a Business Head/CEO would be to serve internal and external stakeholders with compassion and humility. Please check out the story of Shivinder Singh, Co-founder of Fortis Healthcare.  “I am inspired to do more direct Service and give back to society a little of what I have received in abundance.”

CLI’s Life Coaching Program focuses on “Selfless Service.”  Leaders from all walks of life and positions come to learn that serving self first is ultimate.  A Leader who studies self (deepest beliefs, values, fears, emotions, goals, obstacles etc.) acquires a higher IQ and EQ and therefore can better serve others.

Universal Law #14: “The Law of Life” – Fear Dies in the Face of Love

“Love is stronger than Fear.”

Just as chocolate chips add that special “wow” to a cookie, Law of Life coaching spirit-ual  ingredients puts “wow” into our coaching practices.  By ‘spirit-ual’ I mean embracing the fact that every human being on this planet is purely here to love ourselves and others more.  We achieve this by using love to conquer our deepest and darkest fears or imaginary demons.  My extensive research over 20 years is conclusive – love is stronger than fear and it works everytime.  In fact, I built PCMK’s unbeatable executive and life coaching methodologies to kick out those negative fears from your subconscious… unless you want to hold on to them!  Try them for free here.  Or join us for indepth learning.

Malala Yousafzai is one of the most courageous young women today.  She is an example of this law.  She loves herself and other girls so much that she will not let fear get in the way of ensuring that every young girl in the world is treated as an equal to men and receives an education.

Universal Law #12: “The Law of Priority” – Who Comes First?

The Law of Priority says, “I must save myself first before I can save another.”

Those of you who frequently travel by air would recall the wise counsel given by the smart flight attendant.  In case of emergency, first put the oxygen mask on yourself before you help a child or elderly person sitting next to you.

Similarly, to inspire our clients, children, employees, The Law of Priority friends and leaders with Peace and Hope, we must feel Peaceful and Hopeful inside of ourselves first.  The law of Priority says so!

Just as a rainbow in the sky fills us with peace and joy, we can also be a guiding light for others as we connect with our own brilliance for superior personal development.

What can you do today to put yourself first?

How can you be a guiding light for someone today?

Universal Law #11: “The Law of Karma” – What Goes Around Comes Around

Do we really realize that each of our positive / negative thoughts or words or actions towards our own self or towards others, keeps depositing like a bank account?  Indeed, each of us has a Deeds Bank Account just like we have a money bank account.

This Law, also called “The Law of Cause and Effect”, Law of Karma tells us that when we have unconstructive thoughts, words, and actions about ourselves and others (cause), we make a deposit into our “negative” bank account (effect) and vise versa for positive thoughts or actions turning out as “positive” bank account deposits.

A Life Coach Training program shares with us that peace, joy, and love, for example, come to us more easily when we have a lot more positive merits than negative ones.   It just makes sense.  And, isn’t peace, joy, and love all that we want in life?

What we sow, we reap.  As we do good things to ourselves and others, good things come back to us.

Listening Skills – Key Competency of a Good Leader, Parent or Coach

Have you ever wondered the real difference between hearing and listening?  Active listening, as we learn during CLI’s Executive Coaching Certification Program, has four parts to it taken from the Chinese symbol “To Listen”.

We listen with:

Our ears:  Of course! Listening Skills

Our eyes:  When we ‘listen’ with our eyes, we pay attention to body language, to their eyes, and their facial features.

With Undivided Attention:  How often have you walked into someone’s office and, while you are talking to them, they continue to type on their computer?  This drives me crazy!  Same with a life partner or a child, we demonstrate undivided attention when we turn our whole body to them and fully listen to what they are saying.  This says to them, “you are important to me”.

Heart:  The heart is often ignored because old school leaders think this is ‘fluffy stuff’.  Nothing is more important than listening to someone’s feelings.  This says, “I care about your feelings.”
